OSTEOPATHIC MANUAL PRACTITIONER
Breeanna is a graduate of the five-year manual osteopathic program from the
Collège d’Études Ostéopathiques and has a Bachelor
of Science in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University. Breeanna has always
wanted to pursue a career that focused on helping others and making a
difference in clients’ quality of life.
Breeanna can treat clients of all ages, for an array of issues. She has a
special interest in working with pregnant and postpartum women. Osteopathy has
been shown to help with pregnancy pelvic girdle pain and help the body adapt
to changes during and after pregnancy.
In practice, Breeanna utilizes a variety of techniques including but not
limited to myofascial and soft tissue techniques, gentle joint mobilizations,
cranial-sacral techniques, osteoarticular adjustments and muscle energy
techniques. In using this approach, Breeanna can use the best set of skills
for each individualized client and their body. Additionally, Breeanna is
committed to her continued education to provide her clients with the best
care.
In her spare time, Breeanna enjoys exploring the Maritimes, loves to go for
hikes with her husband and her dog Happy. Breeanna enjoys beachcombing,
reading, visiting her local coffee shops and spending time with family and
friends.
